Ok, we weren’t, but here is the first salvo.

Today, we celebrate Carolyn Bacdayan’s monumental contribution as Archivist, now Archivist Emerita, to the town of Lyme.  Henceforth, our Local History Archives room at the Lyme Public Library will be named the Carolyn Bacdayan Local History Archives.

There will be a public celebration for Carolyn in the spring, but come back later today for a slide show titled Traces in the Archives on this homepage created by Julie Hughes, our (now not so new) participant-volunteer Archivist.
