Each spring, we mail our newsletter the old-fashioned way to all residents of Lyme for whom we have accurate contact information, members and non-members alike. This year will be no different, though we anticipate it will be later than usual.

Joan Motyka, formerly an editor with the New York Times, edited our 2019 and 2020 newsletters but was unable to continue as Editor.  We send her our heartfelt gratitude and the hope she will return in some capacity.

Today we are delighted to announce that Janet Roach is filling the position of Newsletter Editor.  Janet was a professor at Columbia University, worked with Don Hewitt of 60 Minutes and Bill Moyers at PBS, wrote the screenplay for Prizzi’s Honor, for which she was nominated for a screenwriting Oscar, worked on the PBS documentary “That’s No Tomato, That’s a Work of Art”, and now mentors writers.
